Holly Springs, N.C., is a beautiful town to visit in the Raleigh area, hosting numerous festivals and special events for visitors to attend. To make the most out of a trip to Holly Springs, experience some of these main events held each year.

Spring Fling
At Bass Lake Park in early April, enjoy Holly Springs’ Easter celebration with a community yard sale in the morning, the Spring Fling event with games, inflatables and music and the Egg Hunt at noon. Buy some items from the Holly Springs locals, or simply take the kids for a day of fun at Spring Fling!

July 5th
Holly Springs continues Independence Day festivities into the day after with the July 5th celebration. This family-friendly event includes face painting, food vendors, inflatables and rides, kids’ crafts, live music, skydiving demonstrations and ends with a fireworks show, so your Fourth of July holiday can last a while longer.

Bass Lake Day
Bass Lake Day is Holly Springs’ annual nature and environmental education festival, taking place early Oct. at Bass Lake Park. The festival features interactive exhibits on several topics like recycling and native wildlife, crafts and games, live animals and live music. Join Holly Springs residents for Bass Lake Day to have a great day of environmental learning.

HollyFest
HollyFest is a large Holly Springs community celebration in late Oct., with day-long activities for families. Take in live entertainment, arts and crafts vendors, food vendors, a children’s corner and Kids Zone with games, inflatables and rides, cornhole and a business expo. At night, the festival continues with a Haunted Hayride on Sugg Farm Park. Recommended for older kids and adults, this Halloween hayride includes zombies, scary clowns and more surprises for the ultimate fear factor.

Main Street Christmas
Christmas begins in Holly Springs with the Main Street Christmas celebration in early Dec. Visit Santa at Town Hall or listen to stories with Mrs. Claus at the Holly Springs Cultural Center. Hayrides, live entertainment, crafts and the annual tree lighting are also included. Don’t miss out on Christmas fun with Holly Springs!
