In late Oct., a Halloween event, Trick-or-Treat the Trails, opens up for kids and families to dress up in costumes and fill their bags with delicious candy.

Holiday happenings

Christmas time brings two special events in early Dec. that transform Garner into a holiday wonderland, Light Up Main and the Christmas Parade.

Light Up Main features the annual tree-lighting ceremony and food, including hot chocolate and cookies, crafts and entertainment in a talent showcase from local residents and businesses; Mr. and Mrs. Claus also make appearances at this event!

At the Christmas Parade, marching bands, floats, Santa Claus and others make their way through downtown Garner, bringing together thousands of citizens, businesses, entertainers and visitors.
