Municipality Plans and Appendices

As the official destination marketing organization for Wake County, the Greater Raleigh Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) works to increase overnight visitation to Wake County and the 12 municipalities within it. To further its mission, the CVB launched a countywide effort to develop a Destination Strategic Plan and build a framework through which destination partners can work together to strengthen the area’s destination product and increase overnight visitation substantially over the next 10 years (to the year 2028).

Below are the recommendations for the municipalities in Wake County. In addition to the highlights noted in these boxes, the plan calls for each city/town to engage in the area's People-First Tourism initiative.
