  • Successfully relocated the Greater Raleigh CVB offices to the Truist/Two Hannover Square building (434 Fayetteville St., Ste. 2600) in downtown Raleigh with several upgrades, enhancements and new fixtures and furnishings.
  • Partnered with Visit North Carolina and Travel South USA to recruit and create the first-ever MICHELIN Guide: American South.
  • Partnered with key organizations to gain support to close a portion of W. South St. in downtown Raleigh in order to proceed with the relocation and construction of a new Red Hat Amphitheater and expansion of the Raleigh Convention Center.
  • Successfully was awarded and held three major esports competitions: ESL One at the Raleigh Convention Center (April 7-13), Rocket League Championship Series at Lenovo Center (June 26-29) and the 2025 College League of Legends and VALORANT Championship Grand Finals at North Carolina State University's Gaming and Esports Lab located on Centennial Campus (May 31-June 1).   • Signed a three-year agreement with industry technology provider Amadeus, which will give the Greater Raleigh CVB monthly reports and dashboards on the types of future bookings throughout Wake County, booking pace and detailed origin data of bookings and how the reservations are being made.
  • Hosted speakers and events for staff, which addressed a variety of personal and professional development areas.
  • Partnered with RDU International Airport to successfully recruit and launch international air service from Frankfurt, Mexico City, Panama City, Bermuda, Punta Cana, Montego Bay, Calgary and Vancouver.

Awards

  • Greater Raleigh CVB received the Meetings Today 2024 Best of Award, voted as one of the best CVBs in the South.
  • Finalist in Northstar Meetings Group's Stella Awards as one of the best and top five CVBs in the Southeast.
  • Alongside partner People-First Tourism and film production company Swift Creek Media, received a Gold Telly Award (the highest honor in the awards program) in the “General: Arts & Culture - Non-Broadcast” category for the video “Sisterhood of the Skyline: Discover Hyperlocal Arts Experiences in Raleigh, N.C.”
  • Alongside creative agency Avenir Bold, received a Bronze Telly Award in the “General: Travel & Tourism - Online Commercials” category for this video advertisement, which supported the 2023-2024 “Let’s Make It Happen” leisure tourism campaign.
  • Greater Raleigh CVB was named a 2025 Smart Stars winner by Smart Meetings readers, with Raleigh, N.C., recognized as a top destination for meeting professionals.
  • Won four N.C. Travel Industry Association Tourism Achievement Awards at the N.C. Tourism Leadership Conference:
    • Best of Show, overall (for best exemplifying complete packages of innovation, creativity and results across our award submissions);
    • Platinum for our 2023-2024 “Let’s Make It Happen” leisure campaign video advertising in the Leisure Marketing category;
    • Platinum for GRSA’s sports destination overview video in the Group Visitors category;
    • and Platinum for our illustrated Sales tradeshow booth in the Convention Marketing category (see an example of the booth setup here).
