Restaurant Status Note

Phase 3 of the state of North Carolina’s reopening plan is in effect and allows restaurants to be open at 50% capacity. However, some restaurants in Raleigh/Wake County might have decided to stay closed temporarily. We highly suggest to check official restaurant websites or social media accounts before making plans or traveling.

Seafood in Raleigh, N.C.

The Raleigh area has more than two-dozen restaurants devoted to seafood, and it's no wonder, being located just two hours from N.C.'s coast. Fresh, local fish arrives daily and typically is battered and fried Carolina- (or more precisely) Calabash-style.
