The Cary BMX Weekend kicks off with the 2019 USA Cycling BMX Freestyle National Championships on Fri. Some of the top talent in the sport will be on display, including athletes that could be representing the U.S. at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo.
On Sat., the Pan American Continental BMX Freestyle Championships feature men and women athletes from North and South America.
The Cary BMX Competition is set for Sun., and expects to showcase more international riders, all looking to earn points to potentially qualify to compete in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
Admission for spectators is free. Each day, the women's competition will be held at 11:15am and the men's competition at 3:15pm. Visit the Town of Cary's Sk8-Cary website for more details.
