About
Hailing from Raleigh, NC, Cherry Motel is an indie pop-rock project crafting songs that feel as nostalgic as they are new. Drawing influence from artists like Flipturn, Clairo, and Tennis, the band creates a dynamic blend of shimmering guitars, catchy hooks, and honest storytelling. Cherry Motel is stepping onto the scene with music built for late-night drives, crowded rooms, and anyone looking for a fun time.
Born in Turkey to a Turkish mother and American father, Mina’s no stranger to bridging together different worlds. Beginning her songwriting journey at the age of 8, Mina absorbed melodic and songwriting sensibilities from pop icons like Lorde, Taylor Swift, and Katy Perry. She later began filtering that influence through a more raw / rock aesthetic inspired by the likes of Cage the Elephant, Briston Maroney, and Catfish and the Bottlemen. Moving to the US at the age of 14, Mina attended a songwriting focused boarding school, and eventually made her way to Nashville. Mina sings what’s sometimes too difficult to say, weaving her words through confessional and emotionally gripping indie-rock/indie-folk Mina is now based in Charleston SC, and has been garnering attention and success from recent releases. Mina’s Debut EP “Faultline” is out now.
Formed by friends with a love for punchy rhythms and melodic storytelling, Powell House delivers fast, happy songs about heartbreak and growing up. Their live set moves from tight grooves to wide‑open choruses that turn crowds into a choir.
