Unique elements include a dragon climbing structure named Katal, progressive design elements and landscaping, and a play area where kids of all physical and mental ability can enjoy fully-integrated play in a multi-sensory environment that challenges both muscles and minds. The park connects to a pedestrian overpass linking it to MacDonald Woods Park. The trail crosses a stream that runs adjacent to the park and a small wetland can be found close by.
