The Raleigh Jazz Orchestra (RJO) was organized as a not for profit arts institution in January, 2003 in collaboration with the Raleigh Symphony to create professional performance opportunities for jazz musicians. RJO's mission is to preserve and promote the nation's indigenous art form - jazz.
