Raleigh Union Station serves as the new Amtrak passenger station in downtown Raleigh’s Warehouse District. Boasting a larger waiting room for Amtrak passengers, a grand Civic Hall, commercial rental space, better access for wheelchairs and strollers, an enclosed concourse, a large public plaza and a 950-foot-long passenger platform, the new facility is well-prepared to serve more than 160,000 travelers per year.
Plans in progress call for an adjoining bus station with local and regional bus routes.
Passenger drop-offs are located in front of Raleigh Union Station. Enter from S. West St. and drive in the traffic circle. Parking is available at The Dillon Parking Deck located across the street (223 S. West. St.) while limited short-term and disability parking is available in front of the station.
