Originally established in 1986, Wildwood Green debuted as one of the best new courses in Raleigh. The great layout was made even better upon the completion of the 1996 major re-design under the watchful eye of architect and one of America's top ten best golf course architects, John LaFoy. The course was created with players of all levels in mind. Stretching 6,500 yards from the back tees, the par 70 layout is challenging enough for the best players yet still fun for the occasional golfer. There are four sets of tees to choose from so each golfer can play at the length best suited for them. Generous landing areas allow some margin for error from the tee although there is no shortage of trees and traps. The large greens provide tempting targets for your approach shots, but you also need a skillful touch to get the ball in the hole. Patrons enjoy a fully equipped clubhouse and snack bar, freestanding pavilion, locker rooms and a golf shop filled with top quality equipment and apparel. The staff and professionals at Wildwood Green are ready and excited to cater to your tournament with their award-winning customer service.
