Zebulon's Town Hall is located in the historic Wakelon School, which had been renovated by GlaxoSmithKline as a training facility prior to its repurposing by the town. The distinctive structure opened in 1909 as one of four, county high schools, and today this historic building is a reminder of N.C.'s dramatic early 20th-century progress in public education.
