2009-2010 Board Officers

David Strong to Serve Second Term as Board Chair

RALEIGH, N.C. - The Greater Raleigh Convention and Visitors Bureau's Board of
Directors have announced its slate of officers for 2009-2010.

David Strong, president of Rex Healthcare will remain board chairman for a second
consecutive term. Dale Whitworth will remain vice chairman, Ken Crockett remains
treasurer and Ian Sauer is secretary, a position he filled in March 2009. Barry Mitsch also
serves on the executive committee as immediate past chairman.

The 2009-2010 Executive Committee, who began their official terms July 1, will be
charged with providing strategic direction for the organization. Whitworth is vice
president and controller for Golden Corral Corporation, Crockett is president of Crockett
Capital Corporation and Sauer is vice president and general manager for Summit
Hospitality Group. Mitsch is vice president of Pyramid Resource Group.

Of note, visitors spent more than $1.3 billion in Wake County last year that generated
more than $366 total savings per local household in state and local taxes.
