Names 2010-2011 Board Officers

Ken Crockett to Serve as Board Chair

RALEIGH, N.C. - The Greater Raleigh Convention and Visitors Bureau's Board of Directors have announced its slate of officers for 2010-2011.

Ken Crockett, president of Winston Hospitality, will serve as board chairman. Ian Sauer will serve as vice chairman, Bill Gant will act as treasurer and Phil Zachary is the secretary. David Strong also serves on the executive committee as immediate past chairman.

The 2010-2011 Executive Committee, who began their official terms July 1, will be charged with providing strategic direction for the organization. Sauer is vice president of operations for Summit Hospitality Group, Ltd., Gant is general manager of the Raleigh Renaissance at North Hills, and Zachary is president and COO for Curtis Media Group. Strong is president of Rex Healthcare.
