Region I Champions to be determined June 20-21 in Kirkwood, Del.

FRISCO, Texas (June 16, 2009) – Three of four US Youth Soccer Regional Presidents Cup Champions have been crowned after their success in the Regional Presidents Cup events held over the weekend.

The Regional Presidents Cup events were held during the weekend of June 11-15, in Madison, Wis. (Region II), Greer, S.C. (Region III), Tri-Cities, Wash. (Region IV). The Region I Presidents Cup will be held June 20-21 in Kirkwood, Del.

These champions in the Under-14 through Under-17 age groups will advance to the US Youth Soccer Presidents Cup Finals to be played in Raleigh, North Carolina, July 17 – July 19, 2009 at the WRAL Soccer Complex.

The US Youth Soccer Presidents Cup provides a progressive, competitive experience to US Youth Soccer teams from the state to regional to national level.  The Presidents Cup gives players an additional opportunity to compete against teams from across the country at a high level for the joy and the challenge of the game.

The 2009 Presidents Cup Finals will be held July 17-19 at the WRAL Soccer Complex in Raleigh, N.C.
