"This meet features Olympic gold medalists and world champions and will provide an opportunity for Triangle residents to see some of the fastest swimmers in the world while being part of the exciting competition," Roy added.

The meet will feature the top local athletes swimming at the state of the art facility, joined by qualified
swimmers from South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, West Virginia, Kentucky and

"This is an amazing opportunity for you, your athlete, and your family to swim, work and watch swimming in the fastest water in the Southeast, and it is right here in Raleigh," said Karen Garbarino, parent of local participating athlete Michael Garbarino.
