PWHL Takeover Tour™ Raleigh — Media Credential Applications Open

NEW YORK AND TORONTO (Feb. 12, 2025) — The Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL) is accepting media credential applications for the upcoming PWHL Takeover Tour™ game in Raleigh, which takes place on Friday, March 7, 2025, at 7:00 PM ET at the Lenovo Center. The game will feature the Minnesota Frost–– defending Walter Cup Champions–– facing off against the Ottawa Charge.
Raleigh is part of the PWHL Takeover Tour™, a nine-game series of neutral-site regular-season matchups designed to bring professional women's hockey to new audiences across North America. Through the first four Takeover Tour games—in Seattle, Vancouver, Denver, and Québec City—a combined 63,923 fans have attended. This included a new U.S. record for highest attendance at a professional women’s hockey game, set in Denver on Jan. 12, when 14,018 fans packed Ball Arena for a matchup between Minnesota and Montréal.
Player Access:
The PWHL will offer a conference call with select players leading up to the March 7 game and opportunities for media access after practice in Raleigh, prior to the game. Players and coaches will also be available to media postgame. All media who have applied for credentials will receive additional details regarding availability.
