CARY, N.C. -- The fourth annual USA Baseball National High School Invitational and the inaugural International Prospect Series begin play at the USA Baseball National Training Complex next week, bringing top U.S. high school players and July 2, 2015 free agent eligible international prospect together in one location for the first time. The National High School Invitational single-elimination championship tournament runs Wednesday, March 25 to Saturday, March 28, while the International Prospect Series takes the field for games on Friday, March 27 and Saturday, March 28.

The 2015 National High School Invitational features eight programs currently ranked in the Baseball America top-25, highlighted by the nation's No. 1 ranked team, College Park High School in Pleasant Hill, Calif. Joining the Falcons in the top-10 are No. 5 College Station HS (College Station, Texas), No. 7 JSerra Catholic High School (San Juan Capistrano, Calif.) and No. 8 Mosley High School (Lynn Haven, Fla.).

The International Prospect Series is a two day event, March 27 and 28, which includes games between the International All-Star Prospects and two local North Carolina high schools, South Caldwell High School and Providence High School.

INTERNATIONAL PROSPECT SERIES

Event Information: Announced in February by Major League Baseball and USA Baseball, the International Prospect Series features players from Aruba, Colombia, Curacao, Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, Panama and Venezuela against South Caldwell High School and Providence High School.
