USA BASEBALL TOURNAMENT OF STARS BRINGS 108 BEST HIGH SCHOOL PLAYERS TO CARY, N.C.
Games scheduled Wednesday through Sunday; Tuesday and Friday evaluation days

-- USA Baseball annual Tournament of Stars begins this week at the USA Baseball National Training Complex in Cary, N.C. The tournament -- which serves as the primary selection vehicle for the 2014 18U National Team -- brings together 108 of the nation's top high school prospects. The week's activities kickoff with an evaluation day on Tuesday, June 17, and games begin at 10:00 a.m. (ET) on Wednesday, June 18, and ends with the gold-medal game at 12:30 p.m. (ET) on Sunday, June 22, and is immediately followed by the announcement of the 2014 18U National Team Trials invitees.

For the first time, games at the Tournament of Stars will be streamed live at USABaseball.com. During pool play (Wednesday-Saturday), the 10:00 a.m. and 4 p.m. games will be broadcast live on USABaseball.com with streaming action concluding with the gold-medal game at 12:30 on Sunday, June 22.

Event Information
The USA Baseball Tournament of Stars features three games per day, Wednesday through Sunday with the exception of Tuesday and Friday evaluation days. Players from all over the United States arrived in Cary, N.C., on Monday. Games begin at 10:00 a.m. on each day.

Tuesday-Saturday, June 17-21: TOS pool-play games and evaluation
Sunday, June 22: Championship Day, 18U National Team Trials selections announced

August 23 - 29: 18U National Team Trials - Houston, Texas
August 29 - September 3: 18U National Team Training - Houston, Texas
September 5 - September 14: 2014 COPABE 18U Pan American Championship - Lagos de Moreno and Aguascalientes
