Veolia Pickleball National Championships Coming to Cary, North Carolina

Raleigh, N.C. (April 7, 2026) – The Carvana PPA Tour is thrilled to announce that the Veolia Pickleball National Championships will come to the Tar Heel State later this summer to kick off the 2026-2027 season. The event, which will be held at Cary Tennis Park in Cary, N.C., Aug. 31-Sept. 6, will have a “Slam” designation, offering the largest amount of prize money and ranking points in pro pickleball and will feature the very best athletes in pickleball.
Demand is expected to be high for what will be a celebration of America’s fastest growing sport, as the tournament will include world No. 1’s Anna Leigh Waters (Singles, Doubles, Mixed), Ben Johns (Doubles), Gabe Tardio (Mixed) and Chris Haworth (Singles), alongside North Carolina residents such as world No. 2 Kate Fahey and world No. 4 Brooke Buckner. Other local globally ranked professionals competing will include Durham, N.C., resident Mehvish Safdar and High Point, N.C., resident James Delgado.
New for 2026, the Veolia Pickleball National Championships will have even more fun for the entire family, including live music concerts, sponsor activations, renowned food and fare, pro-led pickleball camps and clinics plus much more!
The Veolia Pickleball National Championships will feature the PPA Tour’s special blend of professional competition where the best players compete for titles and crucial world ranking points, and vast amateur competitions where players of all ages and skill levels can find themselves competing for medals and bragging rights on the pro courts.
