2019 Greater Raleigh Convention and Visitors Bureau (GRCVB) Awards

Call for nominations

You may already be aware of the GRCVB’s annual awards program that recognizes outstanding professional accomplishment by members of the Wake County hospitality community.

We are currently calling for nominations for the following 2019 awards:

The Horizon Award acknowledges management-level employees who are demonstrating the skills and professionalism to be future leaders in the hospitality industry.

The Isaac Hunter Excellence in Service Award honors front-line staff for outstanding visitor service in accommodations, attractions, dining or other visitor services.

If you have employees or colleagues who fit either of these categories, who enjoy introducing visitors to what our area has to offer, are conscientious, pleasant to work with, customer-service oriented and bound for success, please nominate them for one of the awards! Nominations should include:

  • A completed nomination form
  • Letters of endorsement

Award recognition: 
Awards will be presented at the Bureau’s 32nd Annual Meeting luncheon, Aug. 21, 2019.
