Bitter Social
From the owners of Bittersweet and Johnson Street Yacht Club, Bitter Social is a new community and event space located at 104 S. Wilmington St. above Centro, a downtown dining staple known for high-quality Mexican food. Designed to serve the community with events like poetry readings and wine clubs, Bitter Social also offers private event rentals with a minimum of three hours. After your gathering, enjoy downtown’s vibrant dining and nightlife just steps away.

- 2,200 square feet (one room)
- 120 reception capacity
- Note: No elevator access
Red Bird
Downtown Raleigh’s newest event venue, Red Bird, offers 2,800 square feet of flexible, stylish space at 616 S. Salisbury St. (inside the Residence Inn Raleigh Downtown). Whether you’re planning a corporate meeting, wedding celebration, social event or artistic showcase, Red Bird adapts seamlessly to your vision. With sleek modern finishes and a prime location, this venue combines sophistication and convenience for unforgettable experiences.

- Seats 50-100 guests for a seated reception with dance floor; up to 200 for cocktail-style
- 60 crescent rounds, 72 classroom or 120 theater

The Rumman Room
The Rumman Room offers affordable rentals for exhibitions, events and gatherings of all sizes—a hub for creative professionals, students and patrons to connect. Express yourself in flexible event spaces or become a resident artist and lead collaboration from your own studio.

- Two units combined by glass doors: Unit A (The Gallery) holds up to 80 people; Unit B (Event Hall), up to 100
- 180 total capacity
