Just a few miles outside of downtown Raleigh, N.C., The Ritz has a long and storied history. Opened in the 1970s as a disco, the music venue has evolved over the years, with long stints as a popular rock music venue and Latin nightlife hotspot (the club's alumni range from Jay Z to Dave Matthews to Hootie & The Blowfish). More recently, a change in ownership and a $1 million renovation have revitalized the venue and made it one of the top mid-sized venues to see a show in the state (The Flaming Lips, Big Sean, Spoon, Hunter Hayes and more have visited in 2017, with lots more ahead). The remodel—featuring black, white and "Ritz Red" details with an artistic flair—is described as "rock and roll elegance."

The unique, 12,000-square-foot venue is perfect for private events, too. A capacity of nearly 2,000 guests (460 for banquet style) makes it perfect for corporate events, private concerts, weddings and other special event needs. A state-of-the-art sound and lighting system (of course!), plus a mezzanine with private bar and lounge areas provides plenty of options for planners to give their attendees a unique experience.

The in-house staff can assist with finding approved caterers, assist with booking live bands or DJs as well as help put together other interactive entertainment or creative decor options to meet your group's needs.
