Carolina Mudcats Swing Into 2024 Season in Zebulon, N.C.

Are you ready to root, root, root for the home team? Grab your sunscreen, hats, peanuts and Cracker Jack—America's favorite pastime is finally back!
The Carolina Mudcats, single-A affiliate of Major League Baseball's Milwaukee Brewers, are swinging into action in with a new season of minor league baseball in Zebulon, N.C. (about 25-30 minutes east of downtown Raleigh—visitors to Zebulon will also want to make time for a stop at the wonderful Olde Raleigh Distillery).
The 6,500-seat Five County Stadium—home to the Mudcats for more than 30 years now—will host 66 games for the 2024 season, inviting fans to enjoy a host of promotional nights that include giveaways and concessions deals.
Single-game tickets, starting at $11, are on sale now. The first home game of the season is April 9; the final home game takes place Sept. 8.
Opening week in Zebulon for the Mudcats is April 9-14 against the Down East Wood Ducks. The opening series will feature a fireworks show after the Friday night game, a Mudcats jersey giveaway to the first 1,000 fans to arrive on Saturday and Bark in the Park day (bring your own dog!) for the Sunday afternoon game.
Regularly scheduled promotional nights for the 2024 season include the following:
- The weekend schedule goes off with a bang each Friday night as the Mudcats light up the night sky with Friday Night Fireworks. These spectacular fireworks displays follow each Friday night home game; additional fireworks will take place July 4, 5 and 6 for Independence Day.
- Each home stand in 2024 will begin with Taco Tuesday, featuring $2 tacos available at the Whisker’s Café concessions stand located on the first base side of Five County Stadium.
- Dog Day Wednesdays feature $2 hot dogs and Bark in the Park, giving fans a chance to bring their own pup to the game.
- $3 Thursdays feature discounted ballpark fare with popcorn, pretzels, nachos, sodas, water and ice cream all available for just $3.
- Souvenirs headline nine Saturday home games this season with unique giveaway items scheduled throughout the season (a Mudcats tote bag, hats, replica jerseys and more).
The 2024 schedule additionally includes two Education Days on April 11 and April 24; Splash Day on July June 26; Family Campout Night on Aug. 23; and Muddy’s Birthday on Aug. 25. More details about those nights will be available soon.
The Carolina Mudcats are the officially licensed Class-A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers. First established in 1991, the Mudcats have provided affordable family fun for over 30 years at Five County Stadium in Zebulon, N.C.
