Take a look around the Midtown Raleigh meeting district with our new Threshold 360 virtual tours!
The Midtown Raleigh district includes two walkable areas—Crabtree Valley and North Hills—with some of the destination's most popular meeting hotels and plenty of familiar and local restaurants, shopping and things to do on downtime. Plan a meeting in one of these destination hotspots, both near major highways and interstates—easily accessible!
If you have any questions about the venues or the Raleigh area in general, feel free to contact us any time! We can also give guided virtual tours with insider info throughout each space. Also, in-person site visits are back—reach out to us any time you're interested in coming to the City of Oaks!
Crabtree Valley area
Visitors travel hours to visit Crabtree Valley Mall to shop and dine, with 220 stores, including Michael Kors, Coach, Apple, The North Face, Tommy Bahama, H&M and more. But visitors travel even further, from all over the country, for meetings and business (the shopping and dining is a major plus!). Properties below are a short walk from the mall and are conveniently located right off of I-440.
Raleigh Marriott Crabtree Valley offers up modern luxury in a highly optimal location for groups to meet. And it's an ideal multi-purpose event venue! The hotel includes 379 sleeping rooms, 21 meeting rooms and a 10,000-square-foot ballroom that accommodates up to 500 people and a reception capacity of 1,600. Attendees can entice their palates in the lobby bar and the newly designed restaurant, Braise. Groups have also enjoyed networking, relaxing and enjoying drinks on the outdoor terrace overlooking the pool (pictured in header photo).
With five large meeting rooms totaling more than 4,100 square feet in space, DoubleTree by Hilton Raleigh Crabtree Valley is a great spot to host your next meeting. The property features 176 sleeping rooms and meeting space accommodating up to 250 people.
The Embassy Suites by Hilton Raleigh Crabtree houses 225 renovated, two-room suites and a nine-story atrium with eight meeting rooms and 8,000 square feet of event space. The largest room on the property is 2,165 square feet. Attendees can enjoy a complimentary manager's reception and a full, cooked-to-order breakfast offered daily. Also available to hotel guests is a shuttle service anywhere within a two-mile radius of the property.
The Hilton Garden Inn Raleigh/Crabtree valley features 149 rooms, a theatre capacity of 600 and 9,000+ square feet of flexible event space. Groups love the on-site, relaxed Garden Grille and Bar, with American cuisine for breakfast and dinner.
North Hills area
North Hills shopping and entertainment area offers up some of the destination’s most beloved events, local shops and great food. North Hills Mall originally opened in 1960, but this major shopping area has come a long way since then, now welcoming visitors as a giant, open-air, walkable district offering more than 130 shops, restaurants, bars, spas, a theater, an outdoor live music venue and more.
The Hilton Raleigh North Hills offers 30,000 square feet of meeting space, 333 deluxe guest rooms and the 88 Oaks Carolina Kitchen and Bar, a full-service restaurant open for breakfast, lunch, cocktails and dinner and more. Just a short (free!) shuttle ride down the road from all the shopping, dining and festivities in North Hills, Hilton Raleigh North Hills is an ideal spot for meetings.
Another A+ meeting hotel option is the Renaissance Raleigh North Hills Hotel, at the center point of North Hills and featuring 229 luxury guest rooms. Host your special event in its elegant, 5,400-square-foot ballroom. The hotel includes 12 meeting rooms with a total square feet of 13,400!
