Fall Tourism Talk Live!
Thursday, November 10, 2022, 12pm by Andrew H. Baker, CGSP®
It's finally beginning to feel like fall in Raleigh and Wake County. The leaves are changing, the temperature is starting to cool, and we're looking ahead to the holidays and new year. What better time to meet with friends and colleagues to network and share destination marketing updates than at our November Tourism Talk Live!
For those new to Raleigh area hospitality, Tourism Talk Live is GRCVB's quarterly marketing update meeting, where we share initiatives we have worked on since last we met and new upcoming opportunities for local businesses/organizations to reach incoming visitors and groups. Tourism Talk Live is open to all hospitality industry partners in Wake County and is free to attend.
Kane Realty Corporation is helping to host this quarter's session at 421 N. Harrington St. in Smoky Hollow on Wed., Nov. 30, at 10am.
421 N. Harrington St. is a nine-story office building offering collaborative amenities and meeting spaces for large groups, all while surrounded by the growing retail and restaurant spaces of Smoky Hollow.
Our morning will begin at 10am with a short networking session followed by our agenda:
- A welcome to Smoky Hollow from the team at Kane Realty Corporation;
- a promo opportunity for Wake County hotels for the 2024 U.S. Open in Pinehurst;
- an overview of group marketing efforts and resources;
- a look back on GRCVB's advertising efforts from July 2021-June 2022;
- and more!
Come early, enjoy coffee and pastries with us, and say hello to your fellow partners. GRCVB staff will be there should you have any questions or ideas to chat with us about. If you've never met with us, or this is your first Tourism Talk Live, please find one of us (we'll be wearing the visitRaleigh-brand name tags) and introduce yourself!
The meeting will be in room 421 Conference Large, on the second floor at 421 N. Harrington St., Raleigh, NC 27603.
GRCVB will validate parking for all cars parked in the Smoky Hollow Parking Garage. So bring your parking ticket with you!
Registration for Tourism Talk Live closes Mon., Nov. 28, at 5pm, so get your name added to the list! We'll see you there!
