Join Us for Tourism Talk Live at the Holiday Inn Raleigh-Durham Airport

It may feel like we just met for Tourism Talk Live back in March, and you are right! Thanks to a late-season snowstorm, our "winter" Tourism Talk Live was delayed. But even with delays, we are ready for yet another Tourism Talk Live with you, our hospitality partners throughout the county!
If this is the first you're hearing about this, Tourism Talk Live is GRCVB's quarterly marketing update meeting in which we share with our partners what we've been up to and how we can work together better in the future to promote visitation to Wake County. We also invite partners to share updates from their businesses that could help others succeed.
GRCVB's Spring Tourism Talk Live will be Thurs., May 15, at 10am at Holiday Inn Raleigh-Durham Airport. The Holiday Inn Raleigh-Durham Airport is a 143-room, full-service hotel located just southwest of RDU. With spacious rooms and updated dining and meeting spaces, the property can meet the needs of many kinds of groups and travelers.
Our morning will begin at 10am with a short networking session and welcome from the hotel, followed by our agenda:
- a report from the N.C. Restaurant and Lodging Association on legislative wins for the hospitality industry over the past year,
- marketing updates and data trends from our agency-of-record, Avenir Bold,
- reveal of GRCVB's 2025-2026 business plan,
- and more!
The Holiday Inn Raleigh-Durham Airport is at 930 Airport Blvd., Morrisville, NC 27650. Lot parking is available at the hotel.
We ask all hospitality industry partners in Wake County to consider attending; this is a great way to meet GRCVB staff, determine the best ways to attract visitors as your patrons throughout the year and network with other hospitality partners around the county.
Registration is now open through Mon., May 12; for questions regarding Tourism Talk Live or if you are interested in hosting a future quarterly marketing meeting of GRCVB, contact marketing manager Andrew H. Baker, TMP, FEP, here.
We look forward to seeing you there!
