GRCVB is joining the U.S. Travel Association in celebrating Global Meetings Industry Day (GMID) this Thurs., April 11. GMID is an international advocacy day recognizing the value of meetings of all kinds. From trade shows to business meetings to conferences and conventions, these meetings can boost local economies and bring a variety of benefits to our own community, both tangible and intangible.

The U.S. Travel Association has created a GMID 2024 toolkit that our partners can use to collaborate around GMID on social channels on April 11, along with sharing the hashtag #MeetingsMatter. Local partners are welcome to join us on their channels by tagging @meetingsRaleigh on X as well!
