Friday, November 07, 2025, 12pm by visitRaleigh
Last week, 14 Raleigh and Wake County restaurants were recognized by The MICHELIN Guide to the American South. The MICHELIN Guide is widely considered the world's foremost guide to exceptional dining.
Within our area, three restaurants received a Bib Gourmand designation and 11 restaurants were selected as Recommended. Bib Gourmand highlights spots where diners can enjoy remarkable meals at a great value. Recommended restaurants showcase establishments that inspectors feel are truly worth a visit.
Read more about the Guide and everything pertaining to the selections, here. See below for the short list of our Michelin restaurants...

Inspectors for The MICHELIN Guide American South will return to Wake County every year, so partners can expect more additions in the coming years. Also inspectors re-visit restaurants previously selected to ensure they are still adhering to a high standard (and, of course, restaurants can be bumped up or down from their previous designations).
Congratulations to all these highly honored chefs/restaurants for 2025!
