Right on time for visitors to start planning their trips this year, the 2024 Official Visitors Guide to Raleigh, Cary and Wake County is hot off the presses and ready to promote area hospitality partners and inspire visitors!
The Official Visitors Guide to Raleigh, Cary and Wake County is GRCVB's yearly print magazine showcasing Raleigh and Wake County through editorial and inspirational articles and advertising. Each year, we distribute guides and visitor maps around the county, across the state (e.g., at N.C. Welcome Centers) and regionally throughout the Southeast. We select attractions and information centers where the guide is most likely to be picked up by potential visitors; we also hold a steady stock in our warehouse for future partner requests for guides or maps as well as for individual consumer inquiries.
This year's edition features the stunning and newly open Downtown Cary Park on its cover (photo credit: GRCVB assistant director of marketing and communications Michael Robson). Inside, readers will find every municipality surrounding Raleigh represented with either one or two pages of official information they helped to curate for area visitors.
While the Bureau works hard each year to share as many partners as we can, it is impossible to highlight all of Wake County's 4,000+ hospitality partners in a single magazine; QR codes are available at the end of most every article within the guide linking to visitRaleigh.com for more information and fuller listings.
Online version
The online version of the visitors guide is available at raleighvisitorsguide.com. One of the things we like about the digital version is that each article is available to be linked by itself—convenient if you would like to send one individually to certain guests or customers.
Requesting guides
GRCVB's Destination Services Department has a dedicated visitor information assistant, Ernest (Ernie) Beauregard, who delivers guides regularly to Raleigh area hotels and other information desks in Wake County year-round. Other Bureau staff provide them in bulk quantities for any CVB-booked arriving groups that may request them.
Interested in a single guide yourself? You may request one by submitting the form on this page of our website. You can also pick up a copy at the official Raleigh, N.C., Visitor Information Center (in the connector space between the Raleigh Marriott City Center and Raleigh Convention Center), Mon.-Fri., 8:30am-5pm, and Sat., 9am-5pm.
Grab your copy this week, and be sure to share the news with your patrons who may be planning Wake County travel for 2024!
